Happiness and Pleasure Or Purpose

Please do not confuse me here. Largely positive can be said about the happiness that comes from living or doing something that brings you pleasure. Your favorite team won big on their longtime rivals and experiencing the sheer pleasure. This can be a real boost to their external happiness.

Those who study these things, however, this kind of pleasure , while good, did not do much good for you as it does what I call happiness with a purpose. Agreed that happiness and good health are a combo. Happy people feel less stress, have lower rates of depression, develop a more vital immune system , fewer beats per minute, and in general live longer.

It turns out that the pleasure provided happiness , on the contrary , has little or no effect on things such as depression , stress , immunity, heart health and longevity .

What is happiness with a goal? In general, it is done for others and live your purpose in life . Major health benefits develop from a meaningful life and get outside the happiness of doing good to others.

Again, I'm not discounting the joy that you feel when you celebrate the victory of his team. Alignment with the studies in this area , however, shows that do for others and promote your purpose in life gives you more health benefits and well-being.

It seems once again the studies we are genetically predisposed to live a healthier life with happiness when we generate this effect within ourselves. There is a reward system built when you do things with the aim of helping you to feel good . We selected to survive better that our immune system responds positively to acts of compassion and selfless objectives. Organization of self- reward exists in each of us.
